McKenzie Kil-A-Bytes

Proud Archimedes Alliance Champion!

On the cutting edge of engineering and technology, McKenzie Career Center continues to further its efforts in providing Lawrence Township with education about obtaining careers in technology and science. After hosting the 2002 Indiana Robotics Invitational, the school decided to begin a FIRST Robotics team for the 2003 season. Since then, it has been the team’s vision to teach the generations of today to live in a world of tomorrow.

The 2008 Season proved to be the Kil-a-Bytes breakthrough season, as the team became just the fourth team in FIRST history with win 3 regional titles in a year. In addition, they traveled to the Championship Event in Atlanta, GA, where they teamed up with 1124 and 177 to win the Archimedes Division. They also brought home the overall Rockwell Innovation in Control award for their outstanding autonomous and control functions. Learn more...
