McKenzie Kil-A-BytesAwardsXerox CreativityThis year we are using limit switches on the inside of our grippers. This will help us to make sure that the trackball is in the center of our gripper. If the trackball is not in the center, then our robot may not be able to hold onto it as we move around the field and throw it over the overpass. The limit switches will line up the trackball, so that we can transport the ball around the field and throw it over the overpass.
This year our programming team hopes to install a four set LED display. This display will give our robot an interesting and creative touch. With this display we are hoping to be able to give the crowd and the rest of our team live feedback. We are also hoping to use this display to encourage our driver and other pit-crew members.
