Each Summer Team 1024 hosts our annual Tech Camp. Tech camp is a week-long summer program that allows young students in our community to gain exposure to what it means to be a KIL-A-BYTE.  Each camper gets to take a BYTE out of a variety of skills, including but not limited to:

-Computer Aided Design (CAD)
-3D Printing
-A Special craft project
-Working with the VEX V5 robotics kits.

This year, Campers will compete in a mini challenge where The Red and Blue alliances battle it out to see who can score the most points. Each alliance will place rings on the field posts, or tri-balls into the corner goal. But don’t be late to the endgame, or you may loose out on the crucial end game bonus.

Tech Camp will run Monday July 7th, through Friday July 11th from 8AM until noon each day. Campers will receive a snack each day and their very own Team 1024 T-Shirt. On July 11th, all campers will go to Lawrence North High School to watch the best of the best FRC robots from around the world compete at the Indiana Robotics Invitational(The IRI). All campers will receive a snack credit for the concession stands to use at the IRI.

The participation fee to enroll for Tech camp will be $125 per student. Space is limited, as we will only be accepting 32 students into our camp. Additional information is available by checking the “Contact Me” button on the application.
